At Hangjegyzet, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. If you're not happy with your subscription or have experienced issues, we offer refunds under the conditions outlined below.

30-Day Refund Window

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for unused service. If you're not satisfied with Hangjegyzet, you can request a full or partial refund within 30 days of your payment.

The refund window is calculated from the date of your invoice payment, not from the date you started using the service.

Unused Service Definition

"Unused service" refers to the portion of your subscription period that you have paid for but will not use after your refund is processed.

  • Full Refund: If you haven't used any of the service features (no file uploads, no transcriptions processed), you're eligible for a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: If you've used some features but want to cancel mid-subscription, we'll calculate a pro-rated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription period.
  • Usage Calculation: Partial refunds are calculated on a daily basis. For example, if you cancel 10 days into a monthly subscription, you'll receive a refund for the remaining 20 days.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a refund, your request must meet the following conditions:

  • Refund request submitted within 30 days of payment
  • No violations of our Terms of Service
  • Valid payment method on file (refunds processed to original payment method)
  • For partial refunds: Clear calculation of unused service period

We process refund requests promptly to ensure you're not waiting unnecessarily.

Our support team reviews your request and verifies eligibility.

3. Refund Processing

Once approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method via Stripe.

4. Confirmation

You'll receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

Note: Bank processing may add 3-5 business days

How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple and can be done directly from your account:

  1. Log in to your Hangjegyzet account
  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Request Refund"
  4. Select the invoice you want to request a refund for
  5. Provide a reason for your refund request
  6. Submit the request

You'll receive an email confirmation that your request has been received, and we'll update you on the status within 5 business days.

Refund Method

All refunds are processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. We use Stripe to process payments and refunds securely.

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunds appear as a credit on your card statement within 5-10 business days
  • Bank Account: Direct deposit refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account
  • Alternative Payment Methods: Processing times may vary based on the payment provider

Dispute Resolution

If you've been charged incorrectly or have concerns about a billing issue:

  • Submit a refund request explaining the billing error
  • Our support team will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  • If the error is on our side, we'll issue a full refund immediately and correct the issue
  • You may also contact your bank or card issuer to dispute the charge if you believe there was an error

Exceptions

Refunds may be denied in the following cases:

  • Refund requested more than 30 days after payment
  • Account suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Fraudulent activity detected on the account
  • Excessive refund requests (more than 3 refunds in a 12-month period)

If your refund request is denied, we'll provide a clear explanation and, where applicable, offer alternative solutions.
